Voting is how we tell our elected officials what is important to us and right now we need to be making our opinions known loud and clear. This is a major election year where your vote can help decide the outcome. Pennsylvania has become extremely important in the last two election cycles for President and this year will be no different. We at the Rainbow Rose Center encourage you to learn about the candidates who are running and vote for those you believe align best with your values.
Below are important election dates, with links where appropriate:
1. Petitions are currently being circulated for candidates to appear on the Primary ballot. You can reach out to the local political party that you most affiliate with to learn where you can help candidates get on the ballot. You have until Tuesday, February 13 to sign a petition.
2. The last day to register to vote before the April Primary is Monday, April 8. You can register to vote here. (Voter Registration Homepage)
3. If you wish to vote by mail, you will need to request a ballot by Tuesday, April 16. You can request a ballot here. (Mail-in and Absentee Ballot (pa.gov))
4. Primary Day in Pennsylvania is Tuesday, April 23, 2024. If you are unsure where your polling location is, you can check here. (Polling Place Information (pa.gov))
