The YWCA York's Racial Justice Committee's The State of Black Life Summit will look to reflect on the past, explore the present, and map out the future of York's Black experience. They plan to convene a diverse group of community leaders, activists, scholar’s, policymakers, and members of the public to share their perspectives and expertise. Topics covered will address a wide range of relevant issues in Black America. With an engaged dialogue by expert panelists, they plan to foster constructive ideas for actionable steps to take moving forward, while also promoting awareness, understanding, and collaboration among community stakeholders.
The event, held on Friday, March 15th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm will be held at Keystone Kidspace.
